Findlay goalies Jon Horrell and Will Hooper, along with Niagara forward Justin Cross, earned College Hockey America awards this week for their play in tournament action over the weekend.

Offensive Player of the Week
Justin Cross, Niagara, Sophomore, Forward, Camarillo, Calif.
Cross notched his third and fourth goals of the season as Niagara defeated Yale, 2-1, to claim third place in the Wells Fargo Cup, hosted by Denver. Despite having scored just four goals on the season, Cross is tied for third nationally with three game-winning goals.

Defensive Player of the Week
Jon Horrell, Findlay, Sophomore, Goalie, Acworth, Ga.
In his first action since Nov. 16, Horrell made 37 saves and held 12th-ranked Brown to just one goal in 65 minutes, earning a 1-1 tie with Brown at the Subway Holiday Classic in Grand Forks, N.D.

Rookie of the Week
Will Hooper, Findlay, Freshman, Goalie, Woodbridge, Ontario
Facing the nation's top-ranked team on its home ice, Hooper enabled his team to take a 1-0 lead and hold onto until late in the game. He held North Dakota without a goal through the game's first 50 minutes before surrending a pair of late tallies in a 3-1 loss at the Subway Holiday Classic in Grand Forks, N.D. Hooper topped the 30-save mark for the fourth time in his last six games, stopping a career-high 38 shots versus the Sioux.
