Offensive Player of the Week
Wade Chiodo, Bemidji State, Senior, Forward, Thief River Falls, Minn.
With the Beavers wrapping up a four-game road trip, Chiodo scored three goals and chipped in with an assist as Bemidji State split its Thanksgiving week series at Connecticut. He scored two goals Tuesday, the latter giving the Beavers a 3-2 lead, in a 4-3 loss. Chiodo, who was +4 on the weekend, scored his first career short-handed goal Friday and later set up Chris Nathe’s first career goal helping to lead to a 7-2 victory.
Other nominees: None.

Defensive Player of the Week
Will Hooper, Findlay, Freshman, Goalie, Woodbridge, Ontario
After earning league rookie of the week honors last week, Hooper was named the CHA defensive player of the week after posting back-to-back 30-save efforts in losses at No. 5/6 Colorado College and No. 10 Denver. Hooper has established himself as the team’s number one netminder, seeing action in each of the team’s last nine games. His 35 and 31-save performances marked the first time in his career he has consecutive 30-save games in a weekend series.
Other nominees: Peter Jonsson, Bemidji State.

Rookie of the Week
Luke Erickson, Bemidji State, Freshman, Forward, Roseau, Minn.
Erickson’s four points in the Beavers’ series at Connecticut tied for the team lead, including a three-point effort in Friday’s 7-2 win. Tuesday, Erickson scored Bemidji State’s lone power-play goal in a 4-3 loss. He followed that by helping to spark a five-goal second-period outburst Friday, scoring a goal and recording two assists in the period.
His power-play goal started the rally and he assisted on Brendan Cook’s game-winning goal.
Other nominees: Jeremy Hall, Niagara; Theo Zacour, Air Force.
