conference play. Saturday, Shirley scored the game’s first
goal and clinched the 3-1 victory with an empty-net goal with
four seconds to play. Sunday, she set up the goal which enabled

game, clinching the 5-3 win.

Defensive Player
of the Week
Anna VanderMarliere, Wayne State, Senior, Goalie, St. Clair

stopping 22 shots for a 1-0 victory. She followed that with
a 23-save effort in Saturday’s 2-1 victory.
