Offensive Player of the Week

Zamora led the Warriors to a weekend sweep of defending NCAA
Division III champion Elmira by
tallying three points.
She assisted on one goal in Saturday’s victory and figured
in the scoring of both Wayne State goals
Sunday, scoring the game-tying goal before setting up the game
winner. She also won 79.6 percent (43 of 54) of
her faceoffs on the weekend.

Player of the Week
Desi Clark, Mercyhurst, Jr., Goalie, Salmo, British Columbia
The Lakers upset No. 6/7 St. Lawrence, 3-1, behind Clark’s
29-save effort Friday. She stopped 28 shots
Saturday to keep Mercyhurst in the game, and, for the weekend,
she recorded a .919 save percentage, stopping
57 of 62 shots in the two-game series.

Michelle Bonello, Mercyhurst, Fr., Defenseman, Mississauga,
Ontario
Bonello had a hand in three of Mercyhurst’s five goals
on the weekend as the Lakers split their twogame
series with St. Lawrence.
She collected her first career assist in Friday’s win,
setting up the Lakers’ first goal of the game, and
scored both Mercyhurst goals Saturday, with each coming on
the power-play. The second goal gave the Lakers
their only lead of the game, 2-1 in the second period.
