Jessopp led an offensive explosion as Findlay scored
11 goals in sweeping a two-game series from St. Cloud State,
3-2 and 8-3. Her third-period power-play goal proved to be the
game-winner in Saturday’s 3-2 victory and she followed
that by registering a goal and two assists in Sunday’s
win.
Other nominees: Lindsay Dellow, Mercyhurst; Candice Moxley,
Niagara.
Defensive Player of the Week
Desi Clark, Mercyhurst, Jr., Goalie, Salmo, British Columbia
Clark is taking over as the team’s number one

last season, Tiffany Ribble. In the Lakers’ season-opener,
she stopped 23 of 24 shots in a 2-1 victory at Connecticut.
Her
27-save effort Sunday enabled Mercyhurst to garner a 2-2 tie
with the Huskies.

Allison Rutledge, Niagara, Fr., Goalie, London, Ontario

that the team opened the season with a shutout.

Findlay. |
