CHA announces weekly player awards

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Mercyhurst College forward Chrissy Yule earned CHA Offensive Player of the Week. Yule, from Brampton, Ontario, had three assists and 17 shots in the two games against Colgate and was a +5. All three assists came in Sunday's 7-0 win.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Mercyhurst College defender, Jenn Jeffrey earned CHA Defensive Player of the Week for the second consecutive week. Jeffrey, from Zurich, Ontario, totaled a goal, two assists, and 15 shots in a weekend sweep of Colgate. She was a combined +4 in the two games and anchored a defense that allowed the Raiders a combined 28 shots on goal. Jeffrey scored the first goal in Saturday's 3-1 win.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Findlay University defender Hilary Foord earned CHA Rookie of the Week. Foord, from Onanole, Manitoba, picked up an assist in Saturday's 3-0 win over Cornell and then scored Findlay's only goal in Sunday's 2-1 loss. Foord was a +4 for the two games and leads all defensemen on the team in scoring with six goals and four assists for 10 points.
