CHA names Players of the Week

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Wayne State University forward Cheryl Anderson earned CHA Offensive Player of the Week. Anderson, from St. Paul, Minnesota, had two goals as Wayne State went 2-1 on the road. Anderson scored the first goal of the game Friday at Yale and her third period goal Sunday at Manhattanville gave the Warriors a 3-1 lead.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Mercyhurst College goaltender Tiffany Ribble earned CHA Defensive Player of the Week for the second consecutive week. Ribble, from Redford, Michigan, improved to 7-1 on the season with 2-1 and 3-2 wins at Minnesota State. She stopped 16 of 17 in Saturday's 2-1 verdict and 19 of 21 Sunday in a 3-2 win. For the weekend, she saved 35 of 38 (.921) in helping No. 10 Mercyhurst attain a four-game winning streak.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Mercyhurst College defender Danielle Lansing earned the CHA Rookie of the Week. Lansing, from Red Deer, Alberta, scored her first career goal, which proved to be the game-winner, at 17:55 of the third Saturday as Mercyhurst defeated Minnesota State 2-1. She followed that by scoring Mercyhurst's first goal Sunday at 7:17 of the first that tied the game at 1-1 and assisting on the gamewinner at 2:46 of the third.
