| OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
University of Findlay right wing Jenn Jessop earned CHA Offensive
Player of the Week. Jessop, from Aurora, Ontario, recorded
her first hat trick in Saturday afternoon’s 5-0 shutout
win over Colgate. She also scored an assist for a career-high
four points in the game. Jessop played limited time on Sunday
against Colgate after suffering a concussion early in the
second.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Mercyhurst goaltender Tiffany Ribble earned CHA Defensive
Player of the Week. Ribble, from Redford, Michigan, stopped
all 12 shots in a 3-0 win over visiting St. Cloud State on
Saturday, October 26, then stopped 19 of 20 in a 2 1 win over
the Huskies on Sunday, the 27th. For the week, her save percentage
was .969 and her goals-against-average was 0.50. Ribble is
5-1 on the season with 2 shutouts, a save percentage of .928
and a goals-against-average of 1.50
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Niagara University forward Amy Jack earned CHA Rookie of the
Week. Jack, from Cheltenham, Ontario, had one powerplay goal
and one assist against St. Cloud on Friday. Jack, also scored
a goal during Saturday’s game against conference opponent
Wayne State.
