of Findlay forward Nick Udovicic earned CHA Offensive Player
of the Week honors this week, while Air Force Academy defenseman
Brian Reaney garnered CHA Defensive Player of the Week accolades.
University
of Findlay sophomore Sean Kotary was named CHA Rookie of the
Week, marking his first CHA honor. Udovicic and Reaney
earned CHA honors for the first time as well.
OFFENSIVE
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Udovicic, a 6-2, 205-pound junior from Burnaby, B.C., helped
the Oilers to a sweep over Bentley last week with a five-point
series. The team captain recorded two assists in Friday’s
7-2 win and added two goals and an assist in Saturday’s
7-0 shutout. Udovicic has a team-high 20 points this season. DEFENSIVE PLAYER
OF THE WEEK
Reaney, a 5-11, 180-pound senior from Park Ridge, Ill., earned
all-tournament honors after helping the Falcons to the Radisson
North Classic championship with a 2-0 record last week. Reaney
tallied
a tournament-high four assists and was a +2 for the
weekend. ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Kotary, a 6-1, 185-pound forward from New Hartford, N.Y.,
had two goals and an assist in a 7-2 win over Bentley
on Friday,
and tallied another goal in a 7-0 win Saturday over the Falcons.
He entered the weekend with just one goal in 12 games this
season. Honorable Mention Performance
University of Ala.-Huntsville junior Mike Funk totaled five
points in the Chargers series vs. Sacred Heart last week, while
sophomore Jared Ross tallied a four-point week. Wayne State
University sophomore Billy Collins scored two of the Warriors’ four
goals last week vs. Alaska-Fairbanks. Bemidji State University

Jeff McGill and Marty Goulet each recorded a goal and an
assist in the 3-2 overtime win over Minnesota-Duluth. |
